İsa Burak Gonca graduated from the Department of International Relations of the Faculty of Business and Economics of the Eastern Mediterranean University of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the Masters Program in Political Science and International Relations of the Institute of Social Sciences of Istanbul Yeditepe University of Turkey. Now a PhD Candidate at the Institute of Social Sciences of the Suleyman Demirel University of Turkey, he is doing research on China’s energy policy and geo-economic interests in Central Asia. His expertise is in Energy Politics and Geo-economics. His MA thesis is on the European Union’s Energy Politics. His works have appeared in International Eurasia Energy Problems Symposium Full Text Book, New Century Verge Russia Analysis, Energy Diplomacy, andGeneral Management Executive Journal as well as numerous edited collections, and can be found at isaburakgonca.blogspot.com and his Academia.edu page.
